If the answers below do not cover your problem, or you found a bug, email us. Including the app version (bottom of the Settings screen) and the address you were trying to save makes it much faster to look into.

Common questions
- It saved, but the title and thumbnail are empty.
- Otchi only reads the preview information a page publishes publicly. Posts from private accounts, pages that require a login, and ephemeral content like stories have no preview to read, so only the address is saved. In that case you can edit the title yourself or add a note, and search will still find it later.
- Sometimes images do not appear in the list.
- Thumbnails are fetched from their original location when needed. If there is no internet connection, or the original post was deleted or made private, the image cannot be fetched. Your saved title, notes and boards are unaffected.
- Where is my data stored?
- Only on your device. It is not sent to any developer server, and because there is no account there is no copy anyone can read elsewhere. Details are in the privacy policy.
- Does my library move to a new device?
- Yes. Saves are included in the iOS device backup (iCloud backup, computer backup, and direct transfer to a new device), so they move with your normal device migration. To keep a separate copy in a single file, use Settings ▸ Export data. The exported file is written to your own Files app and is not sent to the developer.
- I want to erase everything I saved.
- Use Settings ▸ Delete all data in the app. Deleting the app removes it as well. Because there is no server-side copy, this cannot be undone.
